Number of samples, first production requirement, annual forecast, delivery time and type of packaging affect the tool, process and price.
Allow time for review and approval
The proposed alloy or structure should be compared with the system requirements before ordering samples, and samples should be tested before series production.
Practical summary
Any alloy, geometry, or corrective action decisions must be verified by controlled drawing and representative testing on the final assembly.
